I found the Oakham chair available online from different care and mobile stores at various prices. Always shop around to get the best price. At the time of purchase, prices ranged between £150 – £200 but after thorough research; I found that The Complete Care Shop had the best deal without VAT charges added, along with free delivery. Available on pre-order at www.completecareshop.co.uk, it arrived within two weeks fully assembled via DPD courier, ready for use.
Generously Padded and Upholstered
It certainly looks well made. A plastic coating covers the strong tubular steel frame, while slip-resistant feet provide stability to the chair. But what stood out was just how generously padded and upholstered this chair was. The extra-thick seat and back cushion provide excellent lumbar support without being too firm or too soft.

Versatility with Adjustments
The adjustable seat height feature on this chair was one of its selling points for me because it helps cater to different body types. Dad just needed a seat height a couple of inches higher than his usual kitchen chair, and it was easy to get this right for him with the extendible legs. Use the e-clips on each leg to extend the legs and adjust the seat height range between 16.5 inches to 21.5 inches, making it perfect for my dad and other family members.

No need for assembly as the chair was delivered fully assembled. This saves a lot of time and hassle, making it even easier to start using the chair right away. The only thing I needed to do was adjust the seat height, which only took a few minutes
